Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team and contribute significantly to our operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy machinery, demonstrating exceptional mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

This role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment function safely and efficiently.

Key Duties Include:

• Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, particularly those from Caterpillar.
• Performing routine maintenance on various vehicles, and addressing issues with air brake systems, transmissions, hydraulics, and HVAC components.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, along with welding equipment, is crucial for effective repairs.
• The mechanic will also need to interpret schematics for troubleshooting electrical problems and may operate heavy machinery for maintenance tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential for communicating with clients about their maintenance needs, alongside maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to safety protocols.
